Dear neighbor,
In response to Hurricane Ida, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is able to provide federal relief to individuals, households, businesses, schools, non-profits, and localities in our district. This assistance was made possible by President Biden’s approval of Governor Hochul’s request for a Major Disaster Declaration, something my office strongly supported. I am inviting you to join me for a Virtual Town Hall on FEMA and Local Resources this coming Tuesday, September 14th at 6 p.m. ET to learn more about these resources.
I will be joined by the representatives below to discuss local resources, individual assistance, and public assistance:
-
Dennis Delborgo - Director of the Office of Emergency Management (OEM) for Westchester County, New York
-
Yokarina Duarte - Director for Intergovernmental Relations, NYC Office of Emergency Management
-
Stephanie Dunn Ashley - American Red Cross Metro New York North
